Declined Membership Agreement: Please read the instructions carefully

Lucy Yang

Hi all,
Many of you signed the CCI Membership Agreement and got declined because you didn't put the right information.
CCI Membership Agreement used the same template as the Trust over IP Foundation but we went with a different model: CCI doesn't require any sponsorship fees (as clearly defined in the Membership Agreement 5. Project Sponsorship), so regardless of membership level (Contributor or Steering Member), it is free. Your signature covers the Membership Agreement, the Project Charter and the terms of the Working Group Charter. The Project Sponsorship Agreement at the end is separate and not applicable to CCI's model so no signature is asked.
Please make sure to follow the below instructions before you sign or if you got declined (signing link):
  • Steering Member Level (only for organizations): If you are signing up for your entire organization/company, please choose “Steering Member” level and make sure you have the signing authority and sign with your work email and title with this particular organization. Each organization only needs to sign one agreement for all employees to participate in CCI. We will use the email domain to identify your employees.
  • Contributor Level (only for individuals): If you are signing up as an individual, please make sure you choose “Contributor” level, use your personal email, and write “Individual” for “Title” and “N/A” for “Company Name”.
